Rohan Bopanna storms into semi finals of French Open Championship wins in mixed doubles against Sania Mirza





This guy is very surprising. Rohan. I wrote him off on twitter for loosing men's doubles and was disappointed that Indian challenge in French open has come to end but then to my shock, i read the news that Rohan won in Mixed doubles keeping my hopes alive. 



Rohan-Pablo lost to 5th seeded pair J Murray and B Soares with 7-6, 6-2 sets. Rohan- Gabriela Dabrowski won again India's own Sania Mirza and Ivan Dodig to enter into Semi-finals of mixed doubles in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.

Rohan Bopanna and Pablo Cuevas Pair enters third round of French Open Championship

Rohan Bopanna and Pablo Cuevas reached third round of French Open here in Paris. The duo won the match against Dennis Istomin of Uzbekistan and Treat Huey of the Philippines in three sets with 5-7, 7-6, 6-4 points. After losing first set, duo came back strongly to win the match in next 2 sets. Their next match is against Jemie Murray and Bruno Soares on Sunday 4/10.

Legend Leander Paes Loses out in Mixed Doubles as well as in Men's Doubles in French Open

Indian Tennis legend Leander Paes had a bad days in French Open. Pair of Leander and Martina lost out to sixth seeded pair of Katarina Srebotnik of Slovenia and Raven Klaasen of South Africa in First round of French Open. Leander and Martina came back in 2nd set but lost out in 3rd set with 4-6, 6-1, 2-10 points.

 

In men's doubles Peas with Scott Lipsky of US lost to David Marrero and Tommy Robredo pair in 2nd round of French Open, loosing 2nd set after win in first set. Fight went on for 1 hr 31 mins, with points 7-6, 6-2.

Indian Olympic Sports Updates | Week June 24, 2017 Badminton Updates - Kidambi Srikanth won Indonesia Badminton Championship on June 18, 2017. He out-classed 47th ranked Kazumasa Sakai by 21-11, 21-19 in 37 mins to lift the Super Series title, making it his 3rd one. Srikanth was trailing behind by 6-11 points but then bounced back to make it equal by 13-13 and thats what put the pressure on Sakai, ultimately loosing match to Srikanth.
